I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in about 2001, and since then I have spent much time finding out the best ways to relieve symptoms and live with this condition. After many years, what I discovered was that instead of having to live with it, recovery was, in fact, possible. What was necessary to recover was to develop health and balance into all areas of life, and to build strategies and routines that will allow the body to recover naturally.Today, my recovery is almost complete - but I wanted to help others with this while I was still in touch with my symptoms and was able to relate to what others were going through. So I have now created several courses to help anyone who is struggling with CFS/ME symptoms.
This is a very short course designed for anyone recently diagnosed with CFS/ME or has had it for some time and is unsure what they should be doing (or not doing!) It also services as an introduction to my main course, CFS: The Road to Recovery (see below).
As a writer, qualified teacher and life coach, I realised that I had the skills to build a course that would help others to build their own road to recovery, and that is when I created my online course, CFS: The Road to Recovery.This is an 8-week programme (currently with a 4.83 star rating) that gently helps you improve seven different elements of health: listening to your body, mindfulness & meditation, sleep & relaxation, diet, exercise, depression & anxiety and work and social life. The structure of the course is designed so that you view one lecture per day, and each lecture will go into details about an element of each weekly theme.

In this course, I look at the benefits of a daily practice of meditation and/or mindfulness in helping your body to deal with and recover from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I will also take you through some specific meditations and other techniques to help calm your body and avoid the stress or anxiety that can lead to crashes and setbacks.
